This fund goes toward a battery backup system (an Anker SOLIX F3800 or EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 — whichever's on sale when we hit the goal) that keeps the server, network gear, and internet running for 8+ hours through an outage, so the world stays up even when the lights don't.

What the fund covers:

Battery power station (~$2,000 on sale) — 3.8–4kWh, enough to run the full server setup for 8+ hours
Surge protection + a small buffer UPS (~$150) so the server never even blinks during the switchover
Small buffer for tax/shipping
